“The inclusion of Indonesia in the G-20 is not given, but we are recognized as a major 16th largest economy,” Mahendra said in his speech at the event National Congress (General Assembly) Indonedia Cocoa Association (ASKINDO) at Hotel Atlet Century in Jakarta, Friday (23 / 7 / 2010).
Mahendra said that Indonesia is one country that is expected to restore the world economy. Countries are China, India, Indonesia, Korea, and Taiwan. “We now are emerging market countries which hold the last two years in the global crisis. Going forward, this country will be the hope of the world economic recovery,” said Mahendra, who had just returned to the country after attending the G-20 meeting.
